What is the Malt Shop Memories Cruise?
The Malt Shop Memories Cruise is back and ready to transport you once again to the time of record shops and drive-ins, cars with big fins, pony tails, and pompadours. It’s time to relive the era in a way like you’ve never experienced before. It’s time to feel like the teenager that you know you still are.
Listen to chart topping hits from the late '50s and early '60s on board the Carnival Sensation setting sail May 8 – 12, 2011 to beautiful Nassau, Bahamas. Mix and mingle with the artists and twist the night away on this floating Malt Shop. See full live performances from each and every act including Chubby Checker, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Shirley Shirelle, The Chrystals, The Original Drifters, The Tymes, and The Skyliners. And Jerry Blavat, the Geator with the Heater is back in action, spinning this era to life as your host!

Are there any discounts available?
- Reservations paid in full by October 8, 2010, will receive a 5% discount.
- A discount of $99 is available to children ages 14 years and under.
- A discount of 5% to any active-duty military personnel (must Fax Military ID).
- No combining of non-age related discounts is allowed.
- Single Occupancy discount of $199. (See What if I Want to Book a Single Occupancy Cabin for details.)

Sun May 8, 2011 - Leave Port Canaveral at 4pm. All passengers must be on board by 3pm, so we recommend booking your flights into Orlando or Melbourne to arrive no later than 11:00am.
Mon May 9, 2011 – Doo Woppin' Day at Sea!
Tue May 10, 2011 – Nassau, Bahamas
Wed May 11, 2011 – Sock Hoppin’ Day at Sea!
Thu May 12, 2011 - Arrive at 8am. We recommend that you book your flights home no earlier than 1:00pm to ensure ample travel time.

Am I guaranteed access to all shows onboard?
Everyone is guaranteed admission to one nightly headlining show in the main lounge, allowing you to see all of the marquee performers over the course of the event. The rest of the event is run “festival style”, with multiple shows going on simultaneously. All of these shows are general admission, so you’re welcome to come and go as you wish!
There are cases where capacity is limited, however, the artists perform multiple times during the cruise. We will release the schedule for all the shows onboard about a month prior to sailing. With a little planning, you can see and do everything you want on board! If you need help, just ask us!
Will the entertainers be onboard the whole time?
All of our artists are excited to join you on board all four days of the event, with a few exceptions; there may be some cases where an artist must join us during the trip or depart early due to schedule or family commitments.
